I like this place and it’s open later than most bakeries, smack dab in the square of local restaurants like Boca Chica and El Mercado, it’s an excellent place. I like to get some of the pastries I’m familiar with like the crescents with custard and the big pan buns. I’ll try something new from time to time but I know there tres leche cake with milk is always good.
This is a great find! We really liked all the breads and pastries we tried from here - the only problem you'll likely have is choosing which ones to buy! We liked the traditional Mexican concha and the coconut sweet roll the best, but we would love to go back and try more things. Prices were very reasonable too.

Great bakery with such a wide selection! I got the Guava Pastry and the Concha de Coco. The bread and pastry were flakey and soft. This was such a great find! I’ll be back for the Tres Leches.

Currently (thanks the current staff) one of the best bakeries in Minnesota second only to Marissa’s in Minneapolis but that might only be a matter of taste. Everything has been very fresh lately in the late afternoon/ early evening.
My husband and I always stop in here when we are in the neighborhood. Stopped in this morning and picked up a piece of Tres Leches cake to share, Cheese Danish and Guava turnover. Heated the Cheese Danish in the oven to further satisfy my taste buds. Perfect!
Have come here multiple times and love the bread. Wonderful bolios with great crunchy exterior but oh so soft interior. Hands down the best bolios I’ve had in MN. Tried their conchas and they are the softest I’ve ever had. I love that I can buy the minis - not all bakeries have this size available! Also had these rolls called novia and they're soft with sugary goodness. All in all, I can recommend the bread 10/10. Pro tip: If you’re going on a weekend and would like to snag some bolios, call ahead and ask to have them set aside. They get busy early mornings and some customers come in with large orders that completely wipe them out and you’ll have to wait 20 min for the next batch to be ready.
I always look for Mexican bakeries when traveling and found this gem in St. Paul Minnesota. Picked out a few things to try. The yellow cake was a light and airy cake with a hint of lemon it was quite delightful. Everything pictured was $8.50. The service was fabulous. I was super happy they opened early enough for us to swing by on our way out.
Delicious and always fresh! We go every weekend for empanadas and (not sure the name) sesame , brioche type bun with cream cheese and jalapeños. That is the best thing ever. Better than a bagel. Thank you for your hard work and super friendly people!
